Goods are received and appropriately stored in a safe, uncontaminated environment consisting of the following services:
- 24 hour security backed by armed response
- Receiving and unloading trailers or containers from suppliers
- Stock put away in allocated areas
- Cyclical physical stock counts are conducted regularly
- First in, first out - computerised stock management
- Order selection
- Checking of picked orders
- Loading and shipping for delivery
- Expedient facilities for COD and Calling customers, with proper financial control
- Proper control of POD’s and administration tailored to suit each individual client
- Warehouse access limited to authorised personnel with due regard to confidentiality
- Immediate reporting and repair or repackaging of breakages, limiting shrinkage
- Expedient management of urgent same day deliveries
